The Amazon Kindle team is looking for Software Development Engineers
You’ll build a robust, performant and extensible platform of Kindle eBook Format and SDK that handles the rich semantics that come from our authoring & conversion tools and provides lossless information to our renderer & readers. You’ll need to invent, design and develop end-to-end features that continuously enable great content creation and reading customer experience. You’ll develop and deliver these features on a variety of hardware & software platforms – devices, desktops and servers. Skills required:
1+ years of experience working as a Quality Assurance Engineer.
Experience in manual testing.
Experience in automation testing.
Bachelor’s Degree.
BE / B Tech / MCA / ME / M Tech / Ph.D. in Computer Science or related fields.
Proficiency in, at least, one modern programming language such as C, C++, Java.
Strong in Computer Science fundamentals and core areas like Problem Solving, Data Structures, Algorithms and Complexity Analysis.
Strong Analytical Abilities.
Development and debugging experience in Mac or Linux is preferable.
