Responsibilities:

• Work closely with Engineers to understand product changes, involve in product design, implementation and prioritize testing.
• Component development, framework development and also work on entire software life cycle (req analysis, design, develop, test and maintenance ).
• Open bugs, fix the product bugs and verify/close bugs.
• Ensure our software meets feature, stability, performance and backward compatibility requirements.
• Support for SDDC upgrades, deployment, enhancements.

Requirements:

• 5+ years as a Development or Test Engineer using Exp with REST, Python, JJB (Jenkin Job Builder)
• Experience testing large scale networking and distributed systems.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a dynamic work environment.
• Networking, Virtualization, Data center configurations and software.
• Knowledge of VMWare vSphere, NSX and APIs.
• Understanding layer3, layer4 protocols, understanding of IPSec, SSL VPN, data center network topologies, stretched networks, DNAT, SNAT, firewalls
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Additional desired experience:

• In-depth understanding of identity and directory services
• Using our tool sets: REST API, Mesos cluster, Python, TestNG and Java for API level testing, Bugzilla for bug tracking, Jenkins for continuous integrations
• Using both Linux and Windows operating systems
• Using VMware vCenter
• Agile and JIRA usage
• Docker container
